The Role
This entry-level role will help support our busy events content production team, working across one of With Intelligence’s longest-running portfolios – Hedge Fund Manager (HFM). The successful candidate will report into the Head of Portfolio for our HFM & EGR (eGaming Review) brands and will gain a foothold into the world of producing event agendas for senior operations and compliance executives at hedge funds across the world.
The Responsibilities
- Undertake speaker acquisition for portfolio of events (including webinars and small in-person roundtable events), under the guidance of the Head of Portfolio
- Research and draft content for webinars and small in-person roundtable events
- Schedule preliminary calls for panellists and moderators ahead of scheduled events
- Liaise directly with confirmed speakers for global portfolio of HFM events – answering queries, collating information and updating online event agendas
- Assist with proofing documents, e.g. agendas, speaker invite emails and bios
- Travel to events to support the on-site event team, as and when needed
Requirements
- Experience of working in an event content production role within a fast-paced business environment
- Has a good understanding of the key drivers required for developing creative and commercial content for successful B2B events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work confidently as part of a team and build effective working relationships across the organisation and externally with top-level executives, to provide an excellent level of customer care
- Able to be discrete and to deal appropriately with confidential information, whilst exercising tact, and diplomacy
- Able to prioritise work and adapt to competing demands and deadlines
- Organised approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, influencing and negotiating skills – can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and contribute to their resolution
- Can demonstrate resilience and remain calm under pressure, particularly when dealing with difficult situations
- Able to research, investigate and present complex information clearly and concisely
- Can work well with minimal supervision, within defined parameters, demonstrating initiative and the ability to be proactive
- Good level of proficiency in MS Office products, i.e. Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and proficient in the use of online video conference platforms, such as MS Teams & Google Meet.
- Undertake research and ad hoc special projects, as needed, or other duties that may from time to time be necessary
- Able to travel internationally to events, as needed
