We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst with strong SQL and Power Query skills to support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will play a key role in managing and transforming data, ensuring high-quality analysis, and helping to improve business performance.

What You 'll Do

• Work with large datasets, using SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Utilise Power Query (within Excel and Power BI) to transform, structure and analyse data efficiently.
• Develop and maintain automated data reports, dashboards and visualisations.
• Identify data trends, anomalies and insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and optimising data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable reports.
• Support the implementation of new data processes and improve existing workflows.

What You 'll Need

Essential Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of experience working with SQL (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in Power Query (Excel & Power BI) for data transformation.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, data modelling, and VBA (preferred).
• Experience with data cleaning, managing and mining.
• Ability to create meaningful data visualisations using Power BI or similar tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication skills - ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills

• Experience in dashboard development.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with automation tools to streamline data workflows.
