We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our IT systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have expertise in threat detection, incident response, and security best practices , along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role involves monitoring systems for security breaches, investigating incidents, and implementing cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor IT systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activities and security breaches.
- Use SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or ArcSight) to analyze logs and security alerts.
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity incidents such as phishing attacks, malware infections, and data breaches.
- Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on company networks and applications.
- Work with DevOps and IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen security postures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
- Prepare reports and security documentation for audits and compliance checks.
- Conduct security training sessions to educate employees on best practices.
- Simulate phishing attacks and monitor employee response to enhance security awareness.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Tools Required:
✅ Security & Monitoring Tools: SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or Microsoft Sentinel)
✅ Firewalls & Network Security: Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet
✅ Endpoint Protection: CrowdStrike, Symantec, McAfee, SentinelOne
✅ Penetration Testing Tools: Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite
✅ Cloud Security: AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Google Chronicle
✅ Programming/Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell (for automation)
