Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic marketing plan to promote the company’s products and services. This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in B2B marketing within the engineering or manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial markets, digital marketing, and brand development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage branding, messaging, and positioning to enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO, PPC, and social media campaigns.
  • Oversee content creation for various marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and press releases.
  • Organise and manage participation in trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate high-quality leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, media, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Analyse marketing performance data and prepare reports for senior management.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience in the engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, brand development, and lead generation.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and CRM systems.
  • Experience managing trade shows and industry events.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and metrics.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with technical or industrial product marketing.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools.
