An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Assistant to work at a newly awarded school contract in Kendal.

You will be working within the team and reporting into the Chef Manager performing a variety of jobs from helping serve the school children during lunch time service to washing up and cleaning down.

This is a permanent, part time position based on a working pattern of Monday to Friday 11.45am to 1.45pm.

You will have a sunny and positive outlook and the ability to greet and engage with our school children in a warm and welcoming manner. The successful candidate will need to pass all DBS checks

Catering Assistant Role overview

• Working pattern - Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• 11.45am -1:45pm
• Rate of pay £12.21 per hour.
• Working alongside the Chef Manager and the catering team in a friendly Primary School.
• • Engaging with and serving our children and teaching staff.
• Assisting with cleaning and other general kitchen duties,
• • Ensuring strict adherence to Food Safety HACCP controls.
• • Ensuring that COVID-19 secure measures are adhered to.
• • Representing TNS to the highest standards and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and residents.
