Princes LHS Ltd a specialist renewable energy, electrical and plumbing & heating contractor based in Ellesmere, Shropshire are looking for a self motivated, confident, full time office/operations/scheduling manager with good organisational skills to join our team.

Previous experience in the plumbing, heating, electrical or renewable energy sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out and delegating where necessary the day to day activities within the office.

Main Responsibilities include

  • Answer telephone calls, including screening calls where necessary.
  • Schedule day to day jobs for engineers using our own bespoke job system.
  • Liase with engineers directly regarding jobs and parts.
  • Liasing with purchasing manager when parts are required.
  • Liase with other members of the office and accounts team.
  • Dealing with customers queries and resolving any potential issues.
  • Oversee the efficient running of the office and and liaise with on site engineers as and when required.
  • Price up engineers completed job sheets using bespoke job system and engineers notes ready for invoicing
  • Create invoices on Sage and send out to customers.
  • Type up and send out customer quotes when necessary.

Oversee others who’s duties include

  • General admin duties such as typing of quotations, filing and answering the telephone
  • Organising work schedules and booking in work for engineers.
  • Deal with engineers directly to give them instruction.
  • Liaise with customers to book in jobs and answer customer queries
  • Invoicing on Sage.

Previous office experience is essential , please do not apply if you have no administration experience.

Suitable candidate must be a quick learner, confident when dealing with customers and engineers and be able to think for themselves.

Must show initiative and be able to work unsupervised.

Must have experience at supervising others and be a confident team leader.

Must be efficient and carry out job role in a timely manner.

Must be conversant with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel. Experience with Sage an advantage but not essential as training can be given.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise direct with customers and on-site engineers.

Must be flexible and able to adapt easily.

This role is full time 8am - 5pm, 5 days per week, with one Saturday morning 9.00am - 12pm per month.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
