Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement automation solutions that maximise production efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Assist in the integration of new technologies into existing production lines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Provide training and support to production staff on the operation of robotic and automated systems.
• Document system configurations, programming changes, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
• Design, test, and implement electrical or mechanical systems for various innovative projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the timber industry, is a plus.
