We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Property Manager with Block Management experience to oversee our high end lettings building. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants and property owners. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Team Management - coordinating you colleagues and third party suppliers
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting viewings, and processing applications.
- Utilise software for data entry, lease management, and financial reporting.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximise occupancy rates and rental income.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and property-related documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial performance to stakeholders.
- Good with tenancy relations and overseeing social media to create tenant engagement and running social events - summer BBQs, Christmas gatherings / Quizzes.
Occasional weekend work (pre-arranged)
Requirements
- Proven experience in block management / property management or a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer service excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£42,500.00 per year
