We are looking for a visionary and strategic Head of Economic Delivery to lead the region’s economic development, drive business engagement, and shape policies that will create a thriving, inclusive economy.

As a key leader reporting to the Director of Economic Growth and Innovation, you will be responsible for developing and delivering bold strategies that attract investment, support businesses, and create high quality jobs. You’ll work at the highest level with government, industry and stakeholders to position the North East as a powerhouse of sustainable economic growth.

What You 'll Do:

• Lead the development and implementation of a transformational economic strategy for the North East.
• Drive investment, regeneration and business growth ensuring long term prosperity.
• Build strategic partnerships with government, investors, businesses, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee research, data analysis and policy development to support informed decision making.
• Identify and secure funding to unlock opportunities and accelerate economic progress.
• Represent the North East on regional, national and international platforms, championing its economic potential.
