Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled Band 6 Community Dietitian to join the community dietetic team in the Preston area. This is an exciting opportunity for an an enthusiastic, friendly and confident Dietitian to join the Community Nutrition and Dietetic department. The team covers Greater Preston and Chorley South Ribble area - based at Minerva Health Centre.

Contract is up to 3 months initially with part time hours required four days per week (set at 7.5 hours per day but which days can be negotiated). Salary from £37,338 to £44,962 a year per annum pro rata.

In this role, you will:

Involve the assessment and implementation of care plans for patients in clinic, in their own homes, in nursing and care homes, possibly at some local community hospitals.

Provide a high standard of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and expert advice to HEF patients and carers.

It is essential that you are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

Requirements

• Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent leading to Health Professions Council (HCPC)
• Teaching qualification or equivalent/demonstration of teaching/supervision experience
• Experience of clinical professional teaching in a community healthcare setting where appropriate
• Evidence of extensive professional clinical Knowledge, skill and experience
• Relevant Registrations; HCPC
• Full UK Drivers License & Access to a car
• Right to Work in the UK
