About the job

As our new Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and owning key future capabilities of our CMP. You will take ownership of the roadmap and strategy for the Portals pillar of the product.

Portals is a cornerstone of the CMP product enabling brands to create themable portals allowing users to understand brand guidelines, campaign playbook, self serve content as well as searching and discovering assets from the DAM.

You are a vital part of one of the scrum teams and play a key role in the product management team. The product management team consists of all product owners and is led by the Product Director. Together with the team we decide on the total product roadmap based on the overarching product strategy and vision.

Our platform is built on modern technologies like Angular and Node.js. You will join a highly skilled team of product owners, software developers and designers who enjoy a technical challenge and care about maximising product value and user experience.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Define product roadmap
  • Contribute on GTM for each initiative
  • Competitor analysis
  • Feed into Gartner and Forrester analyst inquires and vendor briefings
  • Discuss future capabilities with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to discover solutions for problems that our clients face
  • Host product-focussed scrum events (sprint planning, -review and backlog grooming)
  • Discuss product strategy with the product team
  • Manage product backlog and roadmap
  • Support client-facing teams with their inquiries

Requirements

Besides fun to work with, you…

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a product owner-role within a software development team from a related marketing technology product / industry.
  • Have an ability to make decisions to push forward
  • Lead from the front and are ready to roll up your sleeves to help your team in any way
  • Have strong people skills
  • Know how to make a build, buy, partner-decision
  • Have experience working in a SCRUM environment
  • Like solving complicated problems in a simple way
  • Care deeply about the product you are building
  • Don’t shy away from a challenge
