Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist specialising in Bladder and Bowel conditions in the Preston area. This is an exciting opportunity to perform detailed assessments of bladder and bowel function, pelvic floor strength, and musculoskeletal systems, with experience in Women’s Health or pelvic floor physiotherapy beneficial.

Contract is up to 3 months initially with full time hours required. Salary from £33,706 to £40,588 a year per annum.

In this role, you will:

Support patients after pelvic surgeries (e.g., prolapse repair, prostatectomy) with focused rehabilitation programs.

Contribute to service improvement projects or research initiatives to enhance bladder and bowel care.

Use tools such as bladder/bowel diaries, urodynamics data, or ultrasound for diagnostics.

Teach pelvic floor exercises to improve muscle tone, control, and function as well as supporting patients after pelvic surgeries (e.g., prolapse repair, prostatectomy) with focused rehabilitation programs.

Requirements

• BSc in Physiotherapy essential.
• Current professional registration with HPC as a physiotherapist and responsibility for maintaining this registration
• Bladder & bowel physiotherapy experience required.
• Full UK Drivers License & Access to a car
