High House Weddings is a prestigious wedding venue renowned for creating unforgettable culinary experiences. Our goal is to produce 2 Rosette-level cuisine within a high-volume banqueting environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen during weddings and events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in your designated section
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining kitchen efficiency
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards while meeting health & safety regulations
- Managing and training junior kitchen staff when required
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring mise en place is ready for service
- Assisting in the development of menus and new dishes to achieve 2 Rosette standards
- Ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Working efficiently during high-pressure weekend events and large-scale functions
- Adhering to all food hygiene and safety standards
Requirements:
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in events, banqueting, or fine dining
- Experience working in a 2 Rosette or equivalent standard kitchen is highly desirable
- A passion for food and a keen eye for detail
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- The ability to work well under pressure, particularly during busy weekend weddings
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak wedding seasons
- Culinary qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) preferred
