We are a small company selling lighting and consumables to the film Industry. We are looking for an individual with Electronics Education/background that can work as part of a team assessing and repairing film lights. Varied role, ongoing training and the opportunity to get involved with studio lighting

• Educated to HND level in a relevant subject area such as Electronics/Electrical Engineering or be able to demonstrate equivalent and relevant experience.
• Mechanical knowledge desired.
• Able to test Electronic products.
• Capable of reading and understanding schematics, design specifications and test requirements with a good attention to detail and ability to follow concise processes.
• Good soldering skills.
• Fault finding skills down to board and component level.
• Good documentation skills and competent in use of a variety of general-purpose lab test equipment.
• Resolve issues in a timely manner, working with the Technical Manager and/or manufacturers where necessary.
• Help ensure that the test equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Practical with good problem-solving capabilities and able to adapt to fast moving environments.
• Good housekeeping of the service department, where necessary tidying to provide a safe environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
