The focus of this role:
This role is focused on expanding HazardCo into the UK - A completely new market. You will be responsible for growing brand awareness and generating high-quality leads for the sales team to convert.
Reporting to the BDM, you will be responsible for developing an effective marketing strategy while also managing its execution to a high standard. The role requires strong prioritization skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive approach to delivering results.
What you 'll do:
- Build the HazardCo brand in the UK within the SME builder market.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support growth in the UK market and hit lead targets.
- Work autonomously to develop and execute marketing initiatives across digital and non-digital channels.
- Build relationships with industry partners and merchants to create joint marketing opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate events to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
- Create and oversee content production for various channels, including social media, sales enablement, and lead generation.
- Support the CMO in managing our digital marketing performance agency–driving them to hit targets, writing ad copy, and liaising with designers to create artwork.
- Develop and execute lead nurturing plans, such as creating sales enablement content, webinars, educational material, and setting up marketing automation using ActiveCampaign and Intercom.
- Complete basic design tasks and work with a designer when needed.
- Drive customer advocacy by sharing and promoting customer success stories.
- Liaise and collaborate with our marketing support agencies and other vendor partners as required, ensuring they meet timeframes and delivery deadlines.
- Analyze the results of marketing activities and campaigns, making adjustments where needed to improve return on investment.
- Work with the wider marketing team to localize content for the UK, ensuring brand consistency and efficiency.
- Become familiar with and adhere to HazardCo’s company policies, procedures, and guidelines as detailed on the Staff Intranet: .
- Work with other departments to meet business critical needs such as managing orders, answering phones and speaking to customers.
- Attend events nationally to both build brand awareness and create new leads

What you 'll bring:
- Experience working autonomously in a sole marketing position
- Experience as a generalist, with the ability to work autonomously to identify opportunities, develop a plan, gain buy-in, execute, and report on results.
- Experience working with sales and marketing platforms such as ActiveCampaign, Canva, Intercom, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.
- Basic design skills and, more importantly, a strong eye for what looks good.
- Copywriting skills, including writing articles, press releases, and eDMs.
- Event management experience.
- Experience managing social media platforms and scheduling systems such as Hootsuite.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to interact, the ability to listen, and strong relationship-building skills across teams.
- A solid understanding of marketing principles.
- A willingness to continuously improve–both personally and within the business.
