Part of the IPG Health network, McCann Health London is one of the most awarded healthcare communications agencies. We are guided by our founding philosophy, Truth Well Told, and united by one vision: to help our clients’ brands and businesses play a meaningful role in people’s health. We combine science, creativity and strategy to deliver best-in-class services to some of the world’s top, as well as emerging, health and wellness brands. We do this by challenging convention and bringing to life smart, creative ideas that push boundaries and leave the world a healthier place than we found it.
What we offer:
Successful candidates will join one of IPG Health’s UK-based agencies, McCann Health London or FCB Health London, or take on a central role. We’ll connect our emerging talent across IPG Health in the UK as you and your peers begin your career journeys together.
We aim to successfully recruit and train a diverse new generation of talent, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to build a strong career foundation while providing you with guidance as you learn about the industry. To provide a meaningful experience that enables you to thrive individually while collectively creating work that helps our clients accelerate their business and improves lives around the world.
About the Job:
The Junior Integrated Designer will work closely with senior team members, gaining hands-on experience on live projects that span event materials, websites, social media campaigns, emails, apps, web banners, interaction design, and client communications. This role is a tremendous opportunity for on-the-job learning alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Day in the Life:
- Collaborate with the design team to create layouts and visuals for both print and digital media using Adobe Creative Cloud tools
- Perform technical art working tasks, ensuring all artwork meets print and digital specifications
- Support animation projects from storyboard to execution in After Effects and Premiere pro, contributing to the creative input and technical skills
- Assist UI Designers in creating visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces, including layouts and interactive elements using Figma.
- Shadow UX Designers, participating in user research, wireframing, usability testing, and analysing user feedback to build UX design skills.
- Continuously update design and technical skills through workshops, courses, and hands-on experience with new tools and methodologies.
What You Will Need:
- A natural flair for creative design combined with a keen interest in digital technologies.
- Ability to learn quickly. There is no professional experience required, but must show a strong capacity to learn new skills quickly.
- Strong organisational skills
- Must possess a key eye for detail
