Job Summary

The Downland Practice is a lovely, rural GP Surgery in the beautiful countryside to the North of Newbury and within easy driving distance of Thatcham. We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly dispensing team. We are a hybrid pharmacy/dispensary, and the individual would predominantly work as a pharmacy dispenser, but would be expected to cross-cover and work with our dispensing team as required.

Job Requirements:

Applicants should possess the following:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent dispensing qualification
• Excellent customer service skills
• An aptitude to work to strict protocols with good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Hard working, reliable and able to use own initiative
• Competent IT skills
• A caring & empathetic nature with a desire to help our patients
• Hold a full/clean driving licence

As a GP Practice, confidentiality is paramount, therefore a professional manner is essential and successful applicants will be required to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement.
