Town Planner

Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of 18 planners at one of the UK’s leading consultancies, based in Bristol.

Due to a significant increase in workload, Carrington West are pleased to be partners with this consultancy in a search for skilled individuals to be part of a thriving team. We are looking for Town Planners up to the Principal Town Planner level.

The Role
You’ll work on a diverse range of projects spanning:

• DCO applications
• Residential developments
• Mixed-use schemes
• Retail projects
• Energy projects

This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact on both local and national projects. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines, contributing to innovative planning solutions and delivering exceptional results for clients.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree OR Masters in Town Planning or Geography
• Minimum of two years experience in Town Planning
• Private sector planners with experience in consultancy or developer environments
• Local Planning Authority (LPA) planners with transferable skills and a proactive approach
• You’ll need to demonstrate strong planning expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and maintaining client satisfaction is essential.
