We are on the lookout for an organised and detail-focused Junior Project Manager to support our key R&D engineering projects. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to learn the ropes of project management, including tracking project progress, assisting with financial oversight, and contributing to effective reporting across various projects. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in technical project management, offering the chance to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring project progress to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
- Help establish reporting frameworks to provide clear visibility on project statuses.
- Support the development and maintenance of governance structures to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Contribute to project review meetings and encourage collaboration between teams.
- Use tools like Monday.com and Microsoft Suite to help manage projects effectively.
Requirements
Experience:
- Some experience in Project Management.
- Familiarity with or a willingness to learn tools such as Monday.com, Microsoft Suite, and other project management platforms.
- Good communication skills and a desire to engage with team members and stakeholders.
- An interest in developing financial acumen and experience in assisting with budget management.
- Eager to learn about setting up governance frameworks and managing projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, an interest in risk management, and a knack for fostering team alignment.
