Porsche Cars GB (PCGB) is the official importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles in the United Kingdom. It is responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing and service of Porsche cars in the UK, as well as managing a network of authorised Porsche Centres across the country.
About the Role
We have an exciting and rare opportunity to lead the Sales Operation for the UK. The Sales Director role is pivotal in driving our company’s revenue growth and market presence. This position involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading and mentoring a dynamic sales team, and establishing strong relationships with key clients. In this role you will analyse market trends, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and a passion for achieving results in a competitive landscape.
About the Team
As our new Sales Director, you will have the autonomy to manage three of our key teams; Network Operations, Vehicle Planning and Network Training and Development. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, is also essential to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Ensure the achievement of the company’s budgeted Used Vehicle Sales and Profit, to drive the Aftersales business and Retailer profitability.
- Ensure the appropriate training and development initiatives are being carried out across key area of non-technical activities and achieve the business objectives of the training centre as a business unit.
- Management of the tactical budget to optimise sales.
- Participation in SP Volume budget planning processes and agreement of sales volume budgets
- On-going management of Demand Planning and Production Quotas
Minimum Qualifications
- Significant practical motor industry experience in a management position
- Dealer-Facing background
- Experience managing a team with different levels of positions
- Experience balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholders internationally
- Numerous years of experience operating both operational and strategic responsibilities
