Optime Group are seeking a Site Operations Supervisor to join a respected client in Manchester.

What’s on offer:

• Salary: £32,000 per annum
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (Office Hours)
• Hours: 40 per week.
• Full training provided

Key Responsibilities:

• To strategically manage all warehouse, distribution and maintenance activities in line with DHL’s policies and vision, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all functions, performance and productivity, ensuring safe and cost-effective methods are a priority consideration.
• To manage and implement the daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring that all schedules, regulations, records and working practices are up-to-date and in line with company policies and UK legislation, whilst maintaining excellent working practices and health & safety compliance across the business.
• To continuously review and evaluate warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to ensure that the site is operating at maximum efficiency and optimum level.

Requirements:

• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
• Previous and practical experience on a similar level within a busy logistics environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management and legislation.
• Experience of working within budgetary constraints.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to organise and train direct reports.
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software programmes and packages.
• Analytical, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
