Sous Chef, The Saint, St Andrews

Base Salary of £35,700 Basic + Tronc + Bonus Scheme

Package circa £44,500+

The Saint now requires a new Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead the kitchen. You’ll come to this role with experience managing a kitchen as Sous Chef or Senior Chef De Partie with a creative mind to help deliver our popular Wine Dinners.

Duties

• Working closely with the Head Chef, General Manager and Front of House Team
• Producing fresh cooked food using seasonal products
• Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade and achieve GP targets
• Implement new menu ideas and keep focused on customer trends
• Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning schedules

Required Skills

• Three years minimum of Sous Chef/Senior CDP experience
• Extensive food knowledge
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Good Communicator & People person
