The organisation’s entire product portfolio is designed in-house, manufactured offshore, shipped to their headquarters in Carrickfergus, and distributed to retailers across the UK, ROI and Europe.

We’re looking for a Group Financial Controller to join the team.

This is the ideal role for an experienced qualified accountant looking to join an innovative fashion company, where the successful candidate will play a key role in the future growth of the organisation.

As the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining a financial and commercial outlook, continually monitoring and reviewing both costs and sales performance to support the profitability of the group.

Playing a pivotal role, you will proactively advise the management team, in order to increase profits and ensure future growth, based on financial data.

Managing a team of five, you will provide accurate and detailed reports that cover the monthly accounts and cost control, as well as preparing statutory accounts. Challenging accepted ways of working, you will drive change and identify new and valuable commercial opportunities.

Additionally, you will act as an interface between the company and external auditors.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant
  • Have at least two years’ post qualification experience in a high level accounting role, such as chief financial officer
  • Possess working knowledge of computerised accounting systems and spreadsheets, ideally Sun accounting software
