Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills in English as well as proficiency in various IT applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Be responsible for all computer programs running in the office.
- Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
- Organise and maintain files, records, and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and managing calendars for team members.
- Coordinate office activities and events to promote a positive work environment.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role is preferred within the care sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with IT systems and office equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12-16 weeks could become permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
