ESTATE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
A position as an Estate Engineer has arisen to join a team of engineers that service and maintain a 6* Private UHNW estate in Surrey.
We are currently a small engineering team consisting of a Chief Engineer, an Electrical Engineer, a maintenance Engineer, and a Painter and decorator. As well as a team of Caretakers.
The main duty of the Estate Engineer is to assist the Engineering department in maintaining the estates properties, out buildings, plant rooms, swimming pools, water features, electrical and mechanical equipment and lighting throughout the estate, along with other general day-to-day facilities maintenance and HVAC duties.
The department is constantly expanding, which allows for an ever-evolving role, which provides the ability to constantly learn and improve your skills.

Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will have experience of working within a similar role, in either a private household or hotel with similar star rating, A trade qualification in electrics is essential.
- You must have an awareness of health and safety, (Training can be available for the right candidate)
- Carry out In-house preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Manage ppm schedules, for HVAC and plant, lighting, domestic white goods, water features and swimming pools.
- Participate and share knowledge and expertise within the Engineering department and other team members.
- The successful candidate will have a FM background similar and know how to repair plant and machinery with the ability to adapt to changing working systems with the introduction of new and updated equipment.
- Take an active role in improving the operational standards of the properties by using your skills to positively help the day-to-day running of the estate.
- Must be able to work flexible hours when needed during occupied periods.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally a hold an electrical qualification, for example a level 3 diploma in electrical and electronic engineering, and have worked in the field for a number of years.
- Or, hold a mechanical qualification in plumbing or HVAC NVQ level 3 or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of AC repairs and servicing.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong attendance and punctuality records.
- Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a similar environment would be a benefit.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Additional practical skills i.e. Electronics, HVAC, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, or Carpentry.
- Live within 45 minutes’ drive of the Estate.
- Have at least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
