About the role:
Within your role as a SQL Developer the primary responsibility of this role at the outset will be to assist in analysis of requirements, propose solutions and develop components for the different projects and enhancements undertaken by the Agile Team. This role may also support some training, deployment and project administration tasks.
This role will be based from our London office on a hybrid contract.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Define and develop solutions within the Sage development framework
- Write and execute all system testing
- Contribute to design of the Sage development framework
- Liaise with users to refine requirements and deliver better solutions
- Document release procedures fully
- Document and comment code to a professional standard
- Design and document high-risk processes to Sage standards
- Create necessary status reports
- Create user sign-off documentation to Sage PMO standards
About you
- MS SQL & Azure Data Tools - Proficient in MS SQL (SSRS, SSIS) and Azure data platforms (Power BI, Fabric, Data Factory).
- MS Dynamics 365 & ERP Integration - Strong experience in Dynamics 365 development and ERP integrations (Aareon QL a plus).
- Power Platform Development - Skilled in PowerApps and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- DevOps & Agile Methodologies - Experience with DevOps deployment, writing Epics, Personas, and User Stories.
- Software Development & Testing - Ability to create detailed requirements, write/executive test cases, and capture bugs/enhancements.
- Project & Process Management - Full software deployment lifecycle experience, Jira proficiency, and whiteboard process mapping (OPM).
- Data Architecture & Strategy (Desirable) - Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake design (e.g., Microsoft OneLake), UML modelling, and deployment planning.
