ORB Recruitment are supporting another leading Yorkshire business as they grow throughout the county. Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of heating, electrical and renewable solutions to commercial, local authority and domestic clients. Right now they are looking for an Electrical PV Quality Manager to join their team.
Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead in a critical compliance role within our Renewables Department. As the Electrical PV Quality Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s electrical installations and procedures comply with relevant regulations and standards, alongside supporting the Solar PV design team with both technical/practical support and the operational team with the management of installations.
Location: Both office (Doncaster) and Site based role (All sites within 1 hours drive of office).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site audits to identify potential electrical quality & safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Collaborate with whole teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations, company and main contractor policies
- Create and manage delivery of toolbox talks and Personal development plans for engineers
- MCS Knowledge, becoming technical nominee for PV & Battery storage technologies
- Working closely with surveyors & PV designers to guide designs and tenders
- Provide office & onsite engineers with technical support
- NIC Electrical Duty holder role to support Electrical Director
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical compliance, site supervisor or management level
- Strong Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and MCS standards (e.g., IEE Wiring Regulations)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional Qualifications:
- Time served electrician, ECS gold card
- Ideally SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- 18th edition
- Solar PV & EESS qualifications
Salary: 40K+ (based upon experience), plus vehicle additional benefits
