Design Associate - Full Time (Shepherd’s Bush, London)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year
Monday - Friday | In-Studio Role

Ilex Studio is looking for a Design Associate to join our growing team in Shepherd’s Bush, London. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically skilled designer to work on new product development, collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers, and contribute to the expansion of our product range.

About the Role

As a Design Associate , you will play a key role in designing and developing new products , working closely with our team to bring ideas to life. You will also liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and our global sales team , ensuring seamless coordination from concept to production. In addition, you’ll help manage stock tracking and logistics to support the smooth operation of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team on designing and developing new products
• Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure production quality
• Liaise with the global sales team to support product availability
• Assist in stock tracking and logistics
• Utilize 3D printing and prototyping for product development
• Create technical drawings and illustrations for manufacturing
• Work with Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and AutoCAD

What We 're Looking For

• Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Experience in product design (or a strong portfolio for self-taught designers)
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and AutoCAD
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping
• Strong technical drawing and illustration skills
• Interest in nature, art, and design
