We are looking for a Weddings & Special Events Coordinator to join our team here at the award winning Highfield Park Hotel. The hotel is set in 35 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, providing a delightful backdrop to the many weddings and events we host year-round. LuxLife Global Excellence declared us the ‘Best Luxury Country Hotel in Hampshire’ - we love what we do here and we strive to deliver the highest standards for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to every client, from the point of initial contact through to in-person show-rounds and all communication in between
- Successfully convert enquiries into bookings
- Prepare thorough and accurate proposals based on enquiries, and maintain clear communication with clients through to planning and final detail meetings
- Manage all administration related to enquiries, follow-ups and bookings
- Represent Highfield Park at internal and external wedding events including fayres/open days/open evenings
- Updating and managing 3rd party websites
Experience:
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality industry is preferred
- Experience in Sales would be helpful
- Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office, Monday-Friday, which may include evening shifts where necessary for clients who require evening meetings. The successful candidate will also be available for a minimum of 2 weekend days per month. Specific hours and days can be discussed at interview.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 - 32 per week
