The role
We are searching for a friendly, professional Wedding & Events Co-ordinator who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Wedding & Events Co-ordinator will promote and grow the business, personally ensuring that our guests/ clients receive the highest level of service throughout their enquiry, booking of their event and that our standards are always maintained as well as ensuring that all administrative tasks within the department are carried out & liaise in plenty of time with the operations team before each event.
Some key duties of the Wedding & Events Co-ordinator
- In your role you are the first person an event guest / client speaks to or meets - ensure that is a great first impression of you and the hotel
- Guests / Clients must receive a friendly and personalised response to their enquiry
- Remember these organisers are often arranging an event for the first and only time; you have to make it easy to do and understand their concerns and needs
- Every site visit at the hotel must experience that WOW factor
- Sales conversion, profit generation and a successful event are your priorities
- Maximise opportunities through questioning and listening techniques
- Ask your organiser what is key to making the event a success for them and the guests; what would make their job as organiser easier
- Make sure via the events order and weekly planning meetings that operations understand the objective of the event and how we can exceed expectations for the organiser and guests
Is the Wedding & Events Co-ordinator role right for me?
The Wedding & Events Co-ordinator we’re looking for will have a genuine passion for exceptional guest / client’s service, experience ideally gained within a similar guest/ client facing role. Most importantly though, you’ll have a keen desire, flair and knowledge about what it takes as a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator with your previous experience in this area.
Please note this role does include Evenings and Weekend on a rota basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
