Job Title: Marketing/Business Development Manager

Location: Chiswick, Hammersmith & Fulham and surrounding areas

Company: Home Instead Chiswick & Hammersmith

Salary: £ 38,000-45,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience + annual bonus

Term: Full-Time, Perm, 40 hours p/w Mon-Fri (8am-4pm/9am-5pm)

Job Purpose:

As a Marketing/Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of Home Instead through the generation of client enquiries via high-level relationship-building with key local professionals. The role is essential to positioning Home Instead as a trusted partner in senior care services within the local community, with a focus on building a sustainable referral network. This individual will leverage their professional network to build credibility, educate stakeholders, and foster meaningful partnerships, contributing to the long-term success and expansion of Home Instead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Networking: Engage strategically with local professionals and organizations to cultivate trust and position Home Instead as a preferred partner for care services.
  • Relationship Development: Establish and maintain robust relationships with healthcare professionals (e.g., NHS staff, social workers), legal professionals, financial advisors, religious leaders, and other influential members of the community.
  • Client Enquiry Generation: Drive client acquisition through focused networking and relationship-building efforts, with a primary goal of securing 75% of enquiries from recommendations by healthcare professionals, community leaders, and other key influencers.
  • Event Planning & Collaboration: Plan and execute impactful events such as seminars, workshops, and presentations that provide value to healthcare professionals and community leaders while promoting Home Instead’s services.
  • Public Relations & Community Outreach: Increase Home Instead’s visibility through carefully executed PR initiatives, local partnerships, and sponsorships that align with our mission and values.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement innovative local and digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive referrals.
  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Collect, analyse, and report on marketing data to evaluate performance and optimize future efforts. Use insights to ensure continuous improvement in campaign effectiveness.
  • Leadership & Team Support: Lead by example, providing guidance and support to the team to help drive business growth and meet organizational goals.
  • Sales Cycle Analysis: Work with the team to review the sales cycle and identify areas for improvement in conversion rates and referral generation.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, marketing , or sales , preferably within healthcare or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of local community dynamics and the ability to build relationships across a broad spectrum of professionals, including healthcare providers, legal professionals, financial advisors, and faith leaders.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in event planning , public relations, and executing marketing campaigns with a strong focus on local community engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication skills , with a professional demeanor and the ability to present Home Instead’s services confidently to a diverse range of audiences.
  • A self-motivated , results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently while aligning with franchise standards and organizational goals.
