A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a small kitchen team, preparing a menu of fresh traditional Scottish dishes in the soon-to-open restaurant & bar, Kirk o’ The Lochs. This will be a busy restaurant catering for large numbers of visitors to the Tarbet / Arrochar area including large tour groups and as such requires, a good level of culinary experience, organisational skills and a hands-on approach.
- driver’s licence and access to a car is likely essential*
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities
- preparation of a variety of dishes to an agreed specification
- high degree of attention to detail
- able to work under pressure in a busy environment
- level 2/3 food hygiene qualification preferred
- accepting deliveries
- maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
- occasional solo working
other responsibilities will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
