Job Overview
We are the largest independent holiday letting agency marketing high quality holiday homes in the UK. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead our Marketing team. This role will be full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday with availability to work weekends on occasion.
This is a hands-on, varied role perfect for a marketer who loves to combine strategy with creativity and to get involved. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering omni-channel campaigns, driving brand awareness, growing revenue, and working closely with internal teams to ensure we’re reaching the right audiences at the right time. You’ll be passionate about marketing, learning, data, people and always doing the right thing in business. You’ll thrive in a target driven role and practice creative pragmatism to deliver change in the business. You’ll be an experienced leader who can create a buzz and inspire others to deliver evocative and aspirational marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing an omni-channel marketing strategy, covering digital, social media, email, PR, outreach & events.
- Craft compelling content with passion and authenticity to drive our brand messaging and help Guests, Owners and Staff be inspired by our business.
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, benchmark our performance and understand our placement against competitors.
- Understand and grow our audience, develop new audiences and ensure our campaigns reach and engage these audiences at the optimum moment.
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality communication across all touchpoints. Share our ethos and passion for what we do.
- Continually measure and make iterative changes to our marketing channels to improve performance across the entire marketing mix.
- Analyse our data to optimise our websites and channels. A/B test, iterate, and experiment with the UX through our journey to increase conversion and engagement.
- Enhance our brand positioning and visibility across the UK market ensuring alignment with business goals and organisational processes. Oversee outreach campaigns to find affiliates and partner brands who we align with.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, photographers & stakeholders to maintain, develop and raise our company profile.
- Manage your own budget, inspire your own team and lead the company’s marketing operation as the key decision maker.
- Write clear and compelling brand briefings for internal teams to guide marketing initiatives across all channels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing, hospitality, and travel, and always be prepared to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Protect and grow our brand. Evolve and hone our tone of voice to enrich our proposition and ensure consumer and stakeholder trust in our brand continues.
Compensation
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE £45,000 - £50,000)
Requirements
- Three or more years’ experience in a Marketing Manager or similar role, ideally within the Travel, Hospitality, or Property sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and analytics tools.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Creativity, with a passion for storytelling and creating inspiring campaigns.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong project management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and external suppliers.
- A passion for UK travel and a good understanding of the holiday letting market would be a real advantage.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to make bold decisions.
- Comfortable engaging multidisciplinary teams to drive change.
- Excellent phone manner and confidence asserting the company strategy or performance to stakeholders, press, or property owners.
- Education to a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
