Established in 2007 Cauliflower is one of the biggest suppliers in the UK of personalised school products, our current range includes: Leavers Hoodies, Yearbooks, Mugs, Stickers, Calendars and School Christmas Cards as well as spiral & hardback Journals. We are a growing company constantly adding new projects and products and expanding our production capabilities.
Cauliflower is an owner run business with an excellent team of office, production and graphic designers. The owners are looking to appoint a high calibre member of staff who can quickly learn and take control of the office operations.
Currently we have 11 full time permanent staff, split across 2 local sites. We increase to 50+ staff from October through to December during peak production season.
The Role:
As a small company we are looking for someone to undertake a pivotol multi-faceted role in our Business. Duties will include answering customer enquiries on the phone /email, providing user support to customers for our yearbook system, customer quotes, administration of a customer ticket system as well as stock quotes and ordering and ensuring production have everything they need to fulfill their role.
The candidate will also be responsible for planning the work for our office assistant and training and overseeing the work of a temp customer service team during our busy season. This would involve ensuring timely completion of staff tasks, writing/monitoring processes and procedures and working with staff to ensure improvements are made where required.
Experience:
- Significant prior office management, team leadership in marketing or sales or customer service management experience.
- The candidate must have experience with dealing with suppliers & customers on the phone and have an excellent/confident telephone manner.
- The candidate must be confident to work independently to resolve customer issues and engage/encourage new customers.
- The candidate must be proficient in identifying , planning and implementing office requirements.
- The candidate should have previous experience in supervising, training & monitoring assistants /temp staff ensuring excellent performance.
Skills:
- The candidate must be highly organised and systematic in their approach to work and capable of excellent documentation.
- Candidates need to have excellent understanding of computers and confident in the use of computer systems.
- The candidate will also need to have a fluent command of English and have extremely good written English skills.
- Good working Maths knowledge.
