About the role:
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is exceptionally driven to achieve challenging targets. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant, Talent Acquisition Manager or Talent Business Partner to step into a leading role, where they will have the opportunity to lead a new division and ultimately be responsible for the performance of the recruitment function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and implementation of talent acquisition strategies (including secondment model) for recruitment of leadership, mid-career and graduate positions.
- Creation and implementation of graduate development programme to become an industry leading graduate scheme.
- Development of job specifications for all internal hires.
- Leading the implementation of the business’ recruitment strategy and vision.
- Designing and driving the adoption of continuous recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices to support the business in achieving their objectives.
- Partnering with directors of the business to track the ongoing hiring requirements.
- Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met including liaison with recruitment agencies and other construction consultancies.
- Defining and driving the recruitment division to exceed all recruitment targets.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies, incorporating innovative approaches into our talent acquisition efforts.
- Promoting professional development throughout the recruitment function including BIoR, REC or equivalent.
What we are looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstratable experience growing a successful recruitment team and a substantial client base is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrable leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team to achieve recruitment goals.
- Strategic planning to achieve the business vision and objectives.
- Expertise in identifying, attracting and developing industry talent at all levels.
- Ability to make data-based decisions such as assessing HR and recruitment performance metrics which may affect the operation or function of the overall business.
- The ability to sell yourself and the business to new clients as well as maintain relationships with existing clients.
- The ability to transfer an existing client base from your existing role is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
