Purpose of the Role
- Offer technical expertise and assurance for our engineering projects and onshore facilities design within the EMEA region covering Oil & Gas, CCUS, Hydrogen sectors.
- Support business development and proposals.
- Represent and promote Xodus at client and stakeholder meetings as required.
Requirements
Do you have some of the following?
- Demonstrable experience in onshore, underground services, shallow water and landfall pipeline engineering projects from early concept, Pre-FEED to FEED.
- Demonstrable experience of onshore infrastructure projects including pipeline routing, pipeline crossings, alignment sheets, facility layout & specifications.
- Experience of working in multi-discipline project teams and understanding of discipline interfaces.
- Excellent communication, report writing & presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to summarize key parameters and drivers succinctly.
- Have an interest to actively develop external and internal relationships and enhance your career development.
Qualifications, Skills & Behaviours
- Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status would be preferred.
- Engineering support for the mechanical design (maximum allowable pressure and min. required wall thickness of pipelines), material selection & design of pipelines in accordance with industry codes such as BS PD 8010:1, ASME B31.4 and ASME B31.8, BS EN 14161/1594 and equivalent best practices.
- Strong knowledge of major design codes and standards governing design, operation and maintenance of pipelines is considered essential.
- Experienced in understanding onsite construction activities & developing implementation strategy.
- Experience in pipeline design, operations, integrity, repair & fitness-for-service assessment would be advantageous.
- Ability to identify project risks and prepare mitigation plans.
- Experience of pipeline weight & material and CAPEX estimates.
