Clarion Events is the world’s largest privately owned event and exhibition organiser. For the last few years, the group has been undergoing an incredibly exciting period of digital transformation, diversifying the core revenue model beyond face-to-face events into new digital product lines. Clarion Digital Media Ltd (CDML) was created as a sub-division in 2023 to support this mission.
The goal of Clarion Digital is to leverage the rich datasets and relationships built through our events business to launch new digital revenue streams that amplify exhibitor presence beyond the show and add year-round value for audiences and exhibitors. These products include digital advertising, membership, directory and data subscriptions.
We are now looking for talented individuals who can support us in the next phase of Clarion Digital’s exciting growth journey.
The purpose of this role is to build a more engaged community around the iGB Affiliate digital brand by increasing traffic to the website, audience to social media channels and conversion to marketing services. Also to promote iGBA’s core community-building products of Jobs and Directory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Senior Media Manager and with a dotted line to the Head of Affiliate Content, plan and execute organic social and paid media campaigns for iGB Affiliate.
- Help develop and nurture the affiliate community, develop brand presence, visual identity, and tone of voice.
- Advise the team on the best marketing mix and channel strategy and launch of additional social channels if required (e.g. WhatsApp).
- Develop and implement social media strategies which continuously drive traffic to content on iGBAffiliate.com by sparking engagement and discussion among the igaming affiliate community.
- Support Senior Media Manager to run “always-on” as well as tactical paid campaigns as required, from setup to optimisation and reporting.
- Promote the newsletter subscriptions to build bigger audiences and the brand community.
- Set up SMART KPIs for every campaign. Set up relevant reports and processes to track the performance of all relevant channels and content on weekly and monthly basis. Use the data to continuously analyse the results, optimise the campaigns, text, and experiment with different tactics to deliver on the KPIs.
- Leverage the data and analytics to advise the content and web team to help streamline user experience and optimise user journey to drive more leads for sales to convert to Jobs, Directory as well as wider range of marketing services products.
- Analyse ROI for each campaign and channel: support Snr Media Manager in evaluating the return on investment for different campaigns and channels to identify areas where budget can be reallocated for greater efficiency. Provide recommendations for budget optimisation.
- Feed in on recent marketing trends both inside and outside the igaming affiliate sector to create new marketing around content and products.
- Help the sales team with implementing a content marketing services approach, support with sales collateral as required.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours:
- Demonstrable digital marketing background and experience in social media management (LinkedIn as main channel), audience acquisition, traffic conversion, leads optimisation.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a social media page and/or community. Experience with WhatsApp and Telegram is desirable.
- Experience in paid media marketing and campaign management: Google/Meta/LinkedIn/AdRoll (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with using analytical and optimisation tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, LinkedIn for Business, Facebook for Business etc.
- Content marketing skills, including creating own content and copywriting across social media channels.
- Understanding of customer journeys, web conversion and optimisation (preferred).
- Passionate about data and optimisation, actively looking for feedback and ways to improve.
- Self-starter and project manager, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive new projects.
- Experience and/or passion for igaming and its affiliate marketing sector (preferred).
- Capable of quickly assimilating and building market/company/product knowledge.

- Growth of iGB Affiliate community.
- Growth of followers on social media.
- Growth of traffic to iGB Affiliate website.
- Increased traffic to Jobs and Directory sections.
- Availability of analytical reports and processes as required for performance optimisation.
- Running regular tests and experiments.
- New process and sales materials to support the sales team from marketing perspective, participation in the sales process as required.
