Quantity Surveyor - Construction

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and procurement, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost planning and management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering.
• Prepare and review tenders, contracts, and procurement strategies.
• Manage post-contract cost control, valuations, and final accounts.
• Assess and manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC, and other standard forms of contract.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
