Sleepiest is an award-winning sleep app and podcast network featuring an iOS app with over 7 million downloads and a repertoire of seven soul-soothing podcasts for adults and kids. Since launching in 2022, our podcasts have been streamed by over 35 million people.

Our flagship channel, Koala Moon, delivered over 1.3 million bedtime stories in February, growing over 1300% in just 6 months.

The Role

We’re seeking a passionate YouTube professional to lead the growth and development of our expanding network of shows. As our YouTube Network Manager & Growth Lead, you’ll take ownership of our Koala Kids YouTube presence (currently Koala Moon, with Koala Tot’s launching soon) as well as some adult content for the Sleepiest network.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategic content plans to drive subscriber growth and engagement across multiple channels
• Develop eye-catching, premium thumbnails, titles, and descriptions to maximize CTR and reach
• Manage video uploads and optimize content for SEO and audience retention
• Track and analyze YouTube analytics to measure performance and refine strategies for maximum impact
• Explore and manage collaborations with other YouTube channels and content creators
• Work with our editor to transform audio stories into engaging video content with subtle animations and visual elements
• Maintain consistent posting schedules to build audience loyalty
• Oversee the successful launch of new shows within our network
• Collaborate with the audio content team to ensure alignment with brand mission and goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing and growing YouTube channels
• Proven track record of audience growth strategies and channel development
• Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and best practices
• Experience using YouTube analytics for performance tracking and strategic decision-making
• Creative mindset with ability to develop compelling content ideas
• Passion for children’s content and helping families create positive sleep routines
• Self-motivated, organized, and skilled at managing multiple projects effectively

Logistics

• Salary: £34,000 - £50,000 per year, dependent on experience, with a bonus scheme
• Location: Hybrid arrangements negotiable, office based in Leeds City Centre
