We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape marketing strategies in both the digital and traditional realms, as well as play a key role in CRM and data analysis initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing email campaigns, creating engaging social media ads and optimising campaigns and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.

You will be based at our Hills Ford dealership in Kidderminster, and work across all our exciting brands - Hills Ford, Hills Automotive, Hills Ford Transit Centre, Hills Contracts, Brookhire and BH Motors.

The Role

Working closely with the Directors, Departmental Managers, Group Marketing Manager and a Marketing Executive, you will work across all company brands - both on and offline.

The Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role to create and deliver effective marketing plans in a variety of B2B and B2C markets - being proactive and reactive to ever changing weekly business conditions.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone with around two years’ marketing experience ideally with some level of automotive/retail marketing experience although this is not essential. You’ll have an interest in cars and a creative mind - along with the ability to get under the skin of a project and question what has been done previously.

You’ll help out and manage a variety of projects from website content, PPC, SEO and email campaigns. You will also help to develop creative campaigns to our database of vehicle ownership as well as social media planning and event management.

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation in a broad spectrum of advertising channels, providing detailed postmortems and recommendations for improvement.

You’ll understand the usual on and offline marketing channels plus an interest in competitor analysis for key product ranges & managing customer reviews.

There’s a lot of work to do but if you like to manage all aspects of the marketing mix then this could just be the challenge for you!

Main Purpose of the Job

1. To help plan, manage and evaluate all forms of marketing activity for all MTCR businesses comprising; Hills Ford, Hills Automotive, Hills Ford Transit Centre, Hills Contracts, Brookhire and BH Motors.

2. To work with the Marketing team to develop, manage plus evaluate quarterly and annual marketing plans across all brands.

3. To consistently raise the profile of MTCR brands into agreed market areas.

4. To generate enquiries into all group businesses through innovative marketing and awareness campaigns.

5. Assist with management of group databases to ensure data integrity and ensure required content is maintained.

6. Maintain of social media presence and look at growing follower numbers across all channels.

7. Regular reporting to Directors and the Management Team of Marketing plans and success of previous or ongoing campaigns.

8. Assist with regular events across the business.

9. Monitoring competitor activities and submitting ideas to marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand.

10. Liaise with designers, printers and event organisers.

Required Skills

1. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.

2. Excellent at building relationships with stakeholders.

3. Professional in approach.

4. A confident communicator.

5. Good creative writing skills - understanding of tonality of brand.

6. An eye for detail.

7. Good time management.

8. An understanding of CMS (content management systems).

9. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

10. Experience of using CRM systems

11. Ability to blend digital, social and traditional marketing together.

12. Experience in applying a Digital Ad campaign through Google Ads, Meta Ads & LinkedIn Ads.

13. Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

14. Experience in filming and using video content for social media campaigns.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
