Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant’s kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and recipes.
• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Help with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Must be a team player but also happy working alone
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends based on a 4 day week
• No accommodation must be able to commute to work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
