About the role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing a marketing plan that highlights the competitive advantage of the venues and facilities within the Hospitality Department’s portfolio. You will design and implement a commercially driven marketing and communications strategy, running concurrent campaigns across different channels, whilst building brand awareness of Imperial as a destination of choice in the global hospitality sector.
You will work closely with the Hospitality Teams to build integrated omni-channel marketing plans to target sales and drive profits, making a vital contribution to the Department’s bottom line.

What you would be doing
In this role, you will lead the strategic direction for the Hospitality Department’s marketing efforts, developing and implementing annual marketing plans, and conducting regular reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing the marketing budget, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Additionally, you will oversee the creation of promotional materials, manage digital strategies, and ensure the processing of marketing data complies with data protection legislation. Finally, you will inspire and motivate the Marketing Assistant, managing their day-to-day activities and ensuring efficient workload distribution.
What we are looking for
- Degree or equivalent, preferable marketing or business-related qualification
- Experience of delivering strategic marketing solutions in a commercial environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with both internal and external teams to deliver results
- Experience in a team leadership/senior team role with proven ability to manage, direct, train, develop motivate and performance manage staff
- Previous experience in managing budgets, with a proven ability to analyse and interpret data
- Knowledge of sustainability practices within the Hospitality sector and driving engagement with stakeholders
- A strategic approach, adaptable to meet changing needs
- Aptitude for generating new ideas, developing them into successful initiatives, and seeing them through to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The role is full-time and fixed term to early May 2026 with an expected start date of June 2025.
