What You 'll Be Doing (Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept):
- Extract and analyse data from multiple sources (marketing platforms, CRM, website analytics, internal databases).
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations that impact marketing ROI and business performance.
- Develop actionable insights that improve advertising efficiency, audience targeting, and budget allocation.
- Build powerful BI dashboards using Power BI to make data more accessible to teams.
- Write and optimise SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Own and optimise paid ad campaign performance - Google Ads, Meta.
- Predict and model customer behavior to improve marketing strategies and conversion rates.
- Test, experiment, and iterate - Run A/B tests, analyse performance, and fine-tune campaigns.
- Work with the marketing team to shape ad strategy based on real data–not assumptions.
- Automate reporting and alerts so we can react to performance shifts in real-time.
- Challenge assumptions, question vanity metrics , and find the real drivers of success.
This isn’t a role where you just hand off reports to someone else. You 'll be part of the decision-making process, influencing where we spend, who we target, and how we grow.

What We 're Looking For (The Must-Haves)
- 1+ year’s experience in BI, data analytics , or marketing analytics.
- Strong SQL skills (writing queries, optimising database performance, data extraction).
- Experience with Power BI for data visualisation & storytelling.
- Python or R or JavaScript skills desirable but not necessary (bonus points for automation skills!).
- Ability to analyse ad performance and drive real optimisations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Leicester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
