Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to join us on a part-time, freelance basis. This role will focus on managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns to drive efficient and scalable growth.
You will work closely with our Paid Social Specialist and the wider marketing team to refine our acquisition strategy and ensure a holistic approach across paid media channels. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at maximising performance within a defined budget.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads Management & Optimisation:
- Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and YouTube.
- Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis to refine targeting strategies.
- Implement and test different bidding strategies to enhance cost efficiency and conversion rates.
- Ensure proper tracking and attribution using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking tools.
Performance Analysis & Strategy:
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve ROI.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports, outlining key metrics, successes, and areas for optimisation.
- Work closely with our Paid Social Specialist to ensure a balanced cross-channel advertising strategy.
Collaboration & Growth:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid search with broader marketing goals.
- Recommend new opportunities for growth and experimentation within Google Ads.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously refine our approach.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience managing and scaling Google Ads campaigns with measurable success.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Expertise in Google Ads best practices, including bid management, audience targeting, and ad copy testing.
- Experience using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate results clearly.
- Experience with B2B, SaaS, or FinTech advertising is a plus but not required.
Role Details
📍 Remote – work from anywhere in the UK
⏳ Part-time contract – estimated 10-15 hours per week.
💰 Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
