Strand Holdings Ltd successfully operates a number of McDonald’s franchises in Northern Ireland with locations in Antrim, Ballymena, Larne and Magherafelt. Our company serves in excess of 2 million customers every year, employs over 500 people and is among the fastest growing franchise businesses on the island of Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team on workforce strategy, including staffing and succession planning
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organisation objectives
  • Oversee the management of HR data and produce insightful reports
  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues
  • Oversee recruitment practices
  • Support training and development initiatives

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related field
  • CIPD minimum Level 5 qualification or equivalent
  • Extensive HR experience in a similar environment, with managerial experience
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
