This is a London-based hybrid role, requiring 2-days per week in-office attendance in the City.

What will I be learning?

On this programme, you’ll experience working in a dedicated Privacy and Data Protection team at a large global financial institution. Over the first few weeks, you’ll be paid to complete our award-winning Simulate Academy , where you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to perform the role of a Data Privacy Analyst successfully. Following this, you will move to the client site, helping to support and implement privacy initiatives that ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

What work will I be doing?

• Reviewing and updating data protection policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Supporting the review and maintenance of records of processing activities.
• Assisting in the preparation of privacy notices for various business functions.
• Conducting privacy assessments for third-party vendors and monitoring vendor management systems.
• Managing and assessing personal data breaches, supporting timely responses and mitigation strategies.
• Handling data subject rights requests in compliance with relevant data protection laws.
• Providing guidance to business teams on privacy-related queries and incorporating privacy by design in new projects.
• Assisting in compliance efforts for international data transfers, including data transfer agreements and transfer risk assessments.
  Staying updated on developments in data protection laws and assisting in training initiatives.

• A degree in Law, Business, Data, or a related field, is desirable but not required.
