This role will involve travel, predominately, but not exclusively being in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

  • High profile or key accounts - defined as KA
  • KAP Planning
  • Cross sell for all BU’s and able to communicate the total Coveris group offer
  • Clients with diverse needs
  • Negotiates terms with discretion within policy guidelines
  • Prepare a tender for submission to the commercial team
  • Negotiate a contract using your own initiative
  • Develop a plan to improve the financial metrics for any individual account
  • Gains insight into the customer needs
  • Develop solutions to meet the customer needs
  • Established and maintains strong customer relationships at day-to-day level
  • Established and maintains strong customer relationships with decision makers and influencers
  • Negotiate and operate across all levels of customers
  • Plan and prep for a meeting and meet with the customer without more senior involvement
  • Present affectively to large group 30 + internally or externally
  • Present to a customer regarding the corporate and group structure
  • Build a customer bespoke presentation to show customer needs
  • Write reports to customers / internal colleagues that are clear and understood
  • Provide support to a new / Junior member of the sales team
  • Consistently achieve results and works hard in tough circumstances, not afraid to try something new (demonstrated examples)
  • Plan the week effectively to maximise external call activity and revenue generation
  • Set own budget, monitor and review regularly and foresee negatives and positives
  • Finisher completer. Ensuring initiatives are followed through and delivered as expected
  • Holds themselves and others to account for delivering results
  • Design feedback loops into the workplace to measure success

  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all
  • levels within client and internal arenas
  • Great problem solver
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Can be trusted and can hold information in confidence
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong commercial execution
  • Demonstrate selling skills
  • Basic Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in packaging industry
  • Ability to manage multi projects and relationship
