The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations, strategy, and delivery management, preferably with experience in scaling enterprise SaaS companies. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to execute our vision, translating high-level strategy into operational plans and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across the business.

What You Will Be Doing

Operational Leadership:

  • Translate the company’s strategic objectives, defined by the CEO, into actionable and measurable operational plans.
  • Lead the business in achieving scalability, focusing on processes, systems, and resources to support rapid growth.
  • Own cross-functional collaboration to ensure all departments are aligned with the company’s goals and operating effectively.
  • Oversee operational efficiency, ensuring streamlined and effective processes across departments.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Partner with the CEO to design and execute short- and long-term strategic plans, driving business growth and market positioning.
  • Lead the company-wide planning process, ensuring that strategic objectives and operational key results (OKRs) are well-defined, aligned, and delivered.
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual OKR planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and consistent delivery across all teams.
  • Ensure organisational goals are clear, communicated, and embedded in the day-to-day operations of each department.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with overall strategic objectives, ensuring that company performance is tracked and optimised.
  • Regularly report on operational and financial performance to the executive team and board, ensuring transparency and clarity on progress toward key goals.
  • Implement appropriate systems and tools to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Team Leadership and Culture:

  • Champion startup principles across the business, encouraging a bias toward action, accountability, and delivering measurable external impact.
  • Mentor and lead direct reports, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and goals, while fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
  • Work closely with department leads in Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Customer, Product, and Engineering to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation and execution of the company’s strategy.
  • Act as a key partner to the CEO, advising on business decisions, strategic initiatives, and operational challenges.
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring optimal performance, resource allocation, and delivery against objectives.
  • Align cross-functional teams and resources to deliver on strategic priorities, ensuring that teams work cohesively to achieve business outcomes.

  • Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills, with the ability to ensure alignment across departments.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a startup mentality and growth mindset.

Preferred but Not Required:
