Office Manager
We have an immediate vacancy for a office manager based in our friendly, family office. The role will be varied but well supported by existing members of staff, though responsibilities and prospects will grow with the right candidate. We are a growing office team who work to a high standard providing the best possible service to a variety of clients, across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, and education.
The candidate will need to be reliable and professional, confident and willing to learn. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the directors, contract managers and quantity surveyor in:
- Filing and distributing tender documentation, drawings and specifications
- Obtaining supplier quotations + subcontractor prices
- Typing out and sending invoices, letters, quotes etc
- Assisting with basic HR duties such as: staff training records, accreditation management, vehicle management, timesheet/holiday processing etc.
- Preparation of O&M manuals + health and safety files for site offices
- General office duties, such as answering calls, assisting with office organisation, stock supplies, ordering materials and plant, off hiring, arranging materials
- managing of properties and vehicles
- keeping records, filing systems in order and work tracker up to date
- Arranging health and safety for sites, accreditations renewals and applications
- sundry admin duties as required
As we are a main contractor the role encompasses a variety of aspects of construction and the candidate will have the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced team. The role will require a hard working and flexible individual who is willing to adapt as needed and work well with site operatives, office staff and clients.
