EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS • Any degree in the relevant field. • Solid English reading/writing capability required. • Good communication & articulation skills. • Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES • Holds accountability for the delivery of own autonomous work • Utilises deep knowledge of domains, products areas or user communities, advising and supporting junior members of the team • Contributes to LSEG design standards and onboards new members of the team to understand and meet the standards • Supports the creation and validation of new and innovative design solutions, and helps refine and improve existing designs • Runs research and product validation/measurement activities with limited supervision • Follows best practice and relevant design methodologies and processes, working across all stages of the product lifecycle from discovery, through define and to build. • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. • Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products. • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. • Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
